The Performante is what happens when Lamborghini stops compromising. It takes the already-capable Huracán and strips away everything soft — tuning the suspension harder, adding active aero, and extracting every last horsepower from one of the greatest naturally aspirated engines ever built. It's loud, visceral, and relentlessly fast. A modern supercar that still feels analog enough to be thrilling rather than just impressive.
• Powertrain:
Naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 producing 640 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch LDF transmission driving all four wheels via Lamborghini's ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) active aerodynamics system. No turbo, no hybrid — just a screaming, high-revving V10 to 8,500 rpm.
• Performance: 0–60 mph in ~2.9 seconds, top speed of 202 mph, and a curb weight of 3,135 lbs (1,422 kg). At launch it set the Nürburgring Nordschleife production car lap record at 6:52.01 — a landmark achievement at the time.
• Chassis & Dynamics: Forged composite (carbon fiber + aluminum) monocoque chassis. Fully independent pushrod suspension with magnetorheological dampers. Rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring work together for extraordinary agility. The chassis feels surgical — precise inputs, instant responses, zero slop.
• Aerodynamics & Handling: The ALA system uses active front flaps and hollow rear wing channels to switch between maximum downforce and low drag in milliseconds depending on driving conditions. At the track it generates up to 750% more downforce than the standard Huracán. This is active aero doing real work, not decoration.
